Ann Vu

ANN VU is a “hybrid.” Born in Vietnam and adopted by an American army officer, she reflects the diverse, mixed cultures and influences stemming from her settling in the Bay Area’s “melting pot.” She grew up in Oakland and Almaden and graduated from Pioneer High School and San Jose State University with degrees in Finance and Marketing.

Married for 38+ years, ANN is a mother of two grown kids, a local business owner, a community supporter, and a food and wine enthusiast. She and her husband also support educational funding and handicap assistance programs locally and abroad. Her husband works in the high-tech industry, her daughter is a media executive, and her son is a medical device territory manager.
